More Details About Ministries at CGC

Nursery: Our Nursery has the mission to create a nurturing, loving, fun, and safe environment in which our babies and toddlers will experience the true love of God through caring volunteers who work following His call to love and serve Him as well as our church families. We serve them in love by joining the parents in the mission of laying a foundation that will last a lifetime. Nurseries are provided for Infant, Toddler, and Pre-school age children during both the 9:00 and 10:30 services.

Kid's Church: Jesus sought to bless children, and so do we (Matthew 19:14). Our young people are led every week by adults committed to the Lord. During our morning worship service they are encouraged through teaching, puppets, and activities to cherish God, love one another, imitate Christ, and minister. Kid's Church strives to teach our children every major portion of the Bible. Visit the Kid's Church page for more details.

Adult Electives: Small groups are an opportunity to study the Bible in a discussion format. Qualified teachers are carefully selected to have the privilege to lead others in searching the wisdom of God's Word. Groups meet during each Sunday morning service and Sunday afternoons. Electives include Bible book studies, Biblical foundations, telling others about Christ, and church membership.

Small Groups: Faith grows best in relationship. Our on-going small group ministry exists to share, serve, equip, encourage, and support one another. You do not need to be a member of Community of Grace to participate in a group, because its desire is always to reach out to others. If you want to know more about our fellowship & people, a small group is one of the best avenues. There you will learn even more fully what the church of Christ is to be all about.

Music: Everyone likes music and music is a vital part of our faith expression. Many of the Bible's psalms were written to music. Music groups and worship bands thrive at Community of Grace with styles ranging from traditional to contemporary. Each Sunday morning service has its own musical style. In many ways we desire to lift our voices in praise to our God! We also desire to express ourselves through fine arts as part of our worship to the creative God.
